Virtual Training: “Reconciliation- What It Is and What It Is Not”

Join our Indigenous Sharing Session lead by Caren La Fontaine to learn more about reconciliation. During our sharing circle we will discuss:
- Truth and Reconciliation Report history, outcomes of recommendations, and increasing understanding
- Reconciliation and building goals for your agency through accountability, advocacy, allyship, and actions
- Building relationships with Indigenous families and communities
- Territory Acknowledgements of the West Coast and Coast Salish territories that we reside on

About the Facilitator:
Caren La Fontaine is Lakȟóta from Wood Mountain Saskatchewan Lakȟóta First Nation and Métis ancestry. Caren currently is a Roots Practitioner with the Ministry of Children and Development in the North Fraser Service Delivery Area.
