    Forum Description

Many of us are trying to look ahead and move from the crisis response mode that we have been stuck in FRP-BC continues to draw upon the innovation and skills of our talented membership. Our next bi-monthly Member Call, June 20th, will feature Jacqueline Neligan from Ladysmith Family and Friends Resource Program (LaFF). Jacqueline has a unique approach to building community and has on-the-ground practical ideas for any FRP, regardless of size or funding, to build and support the community. In the image of the circles, families with young children are in the center of the circle in our work, with extended family and community surrounding them. They are not best served in isolation but as a part of the greater whole. Please join us for this conversation. Bring your ideas and or questions.

We will also have a short guest presentation (10 minutes) from a new Child and Youth Mental Health initiative. They are going to be expanding the Everyday Anxiety Strategies for Educators (EASE) online course and resources to the early years sector, to equip early years professionals with additional anxiety and mental health tools to support families with young children. FRP-BC is pleased to assist with the dissemination of this exciting information.
