Membership at FRP-BC Is Changing. In the Best Way.

We are thrilled to share that FRP-BC is eliminating membership fees and launching a new relational renewal process.

Why We Are Making This Change

Because this work is relational.

A yearly conversation creates space for deep listening and ensures our initiatives remain grounded in your on-the-ground realities. As we move into our next phase of strategic work, staying connected in this way matters.

Because barriers, even small ones, matter.

We have heard that annual fees and payment processes can create strain. Removing fees entirely reflects our commitment to equitable participation across the province.

Because our advocacy needs stronger, shared data.

We know the impact of FRPs is powerful. We hear it in stories every day. At the same time, as a sector, we need clearer provincial-level data to strengthen our advocacy and visibility. Building that foundation starts with small, consistent questions asked year over year.

Because FRPs deserve to be clearly represented.

In broader early years spaces, Family Resource Programs are often overshadowed. This renewal process helps ensure that organizations delivering FRPs remain centred in conversations about advocacy, impact, and sector priorities. Collaboration remains important, and so does clarity about who we represent.

What The New Renewal Process Looks Like

Each member organization will book one 30-minute renewal conversation during our annual renewal period (this year in May and June).

Sign up for your renewal conversation here: https://calendly.com/engagement-frpbc/frp-member-renewals

Each member organization will book one 30-minute renewal conversation during our May–June renewal period, a dedicated time to connect, collect key data points, highlight opportunities to raise our sector’s profile (including October’s Week of Action), and surface emerging priorities together.

We look forward to connecting with you!
