Member Call: Reporting Back on Wage Grid Survey

Join Us for a Vital Conversation on Early Years Wages – February 6th, 12:00–1:15 PM

FRP-BC is hosting a member call to share the results of our “Early Years Wages Survey” and encourage dialogue around actionable next steps. Together, we’ll explore the key themes that emerged around topics like:

  • Factors affecting wages within member organizations
  • How funding and wages impact hiring and retention
  • The alignment (or misalignment) of wages with living wages and agency mandates
  • The ECE wage grid’s accessibility and its implications for community settings

In addition to summarizing the survey results, we’ll discuss how FRP-BC has used this information so far and hold space for meaningful dialogue around opportunities for further collective action, such as:

  • Possibilities for sharing the information more broadly
  • Introducing a potential provincial wage advocacy working group to drive change
  • Sharing slides/discussions from the gathering with all FRP-BC members as a newly available resource.

We encourage you to register and join this impactful conversation. If you can’t attend, consider asking a colleague to participate in your place. Together, we can strengthen advocacy efforts and shape a more sustainable future for our sector!
