FRP MLA Connection Campaign: Let’s Make Some Noise Together

For years, members across B.C. have told us: we need sustainable support, and we need a coordinated voice. You’ve asked and we listened. FRP-BC has launched the FRP MLA Connection Campaign. And now, there’s an opportunity for everyone in our sector to take part.

Over the next two months, we’re inviting FRPs across B.C. to reach out to their local MLAs. At the same time, our FRP-BC board and staff will meet with Ministers in Victoria. Together, we’re building buzz and momentum, making sure government hears the meaningful, preventive impacts of FRPs loud and clear.

We know you’re busy doing this work every day in your communities. That’s why we’ve worked to make your outreach simple. Our new MLA Toolkit has key messages, templates, and resources to help you connect. You can also join our upcoming Advocacy in Action Workshop, or reach out to us directly. Whether it’s drafting that first email, preparing for a meeting, or connecting you to learn from others’ experiences, we’re here and we’re always happy to support.

This campaign grew from years of listening to you. Now it’s time to act together. Let’s make visible the strength of our sector, and the thousands of families who count on FRPs every year. Grab the toolkit, reach out to your MLA, and let’s make some noise. We are so much stronger when we speak together.
