Everyday Anxiety Strategies for Early Years (EASEY)

EASEY is an online course and collection of resources for B.C. Early Years professionals. It provides practical and evidence-informed anxiety information and strategies to strengthen their capacity to support families with children aged 0–6 who experience “every day” (mild to moderate) anxiety. We aim to launch EASEY late September on the HealthyMindsBC website.
We are very grateful for the partnership with FRP-BC, particularly to those members who have taken time out of their busy schedules to review draft course content, provide feedback, contribute to the videos, and/or participate in the EASEY pilot. Thank you for the opportunity to provide an update at the June member call.
We are now in the early stages of the next part of the EASEY project. It includes the development of EASEY at Home – resources specifically designed for use by parents and caregivers. We are searching for two Early Years professionals to join our EASEY At Home working group to inform and contribute to its development. We anticipate a commitment of approximately 5 hours in July and August and another 3-4 hours in late fall/early winter. Please email Gina.Panattoni@gov.bc.ca if you are interested by Wednesday, June 21.
EASEY is developed by the Ministry of Children and Family Development’s Child and Youth Mental Health Policy team.
