Action Plan for Reconciliation Focus Group
FRP-BC practicum student Amanda Coulis will be hosting two focus groups on how FRPs currently engage in reconciliation programming. During the focus groups, she will gather members’ thoughts about what would benefit reconciliation programming. Information collected during the focus group will be used to guide the creation of reconciliation-based programming plans. The focus groups will be held on January 26th, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM and February 13th, from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM.
Every participant will receive a $20 coffee gift card. There will also be a draw for one ticket per group to the Indigenous Cultural Safety for Family Support Agencies training. This is worth $200. Winners will be announced at the completion of each 1.5-hour focus group. This is a student-led research project and findings will contribute to Amanda Coulis’ First Nation and Indigenous Studies Practicum project.
